My eye is a bug magnet

After my amazing Tuesday, I decided to take it easier on Wednesday. I planned on doing an early morning workout but I let my motivation slip past and planted myself on the couch instead. I did manage to accomplish something other than eating way too many bowls of Apple Jacks.

After my sugar overload at breakfast, I sat down with my laptop and worked on relocating my blog to a new host and (hopefully) improving it. I’m new to the blogging world but I am learning new and interesting things everyday so bear with me on this journey! When lunch time rolled around, I decided to make a (add whatever sounds good) salad. This included ground beef, shredded cheese, sunflower seeds, and thin crisps Tricuits. The finished product: (before the massive amount of ranch dressing I added).

After lunch I got my butt in gear and did some cleaning, laundry, and organizing of my husband’s closet. Then I caught up on the last 2 episodes of True Blood (I thought this was supposed to be the last season, but they left us hanging). Once Chris got home I decided to go for a run so he could do his homework without any distractions. I left around 5pm and it was already starting to get dark (bummer). There were an ample amount of bugs dive bombing my face and I think when that bug flew in my eye he left some kind of beacon behind attracting all his little bug friends. I have had about 8 bugs try to fly right into the same eye that first bugger did, but weirdly enough haven’t touched the other eye.

I planned on running 2 miles but after I started running it turned into 3 since I was feeling great. Unfortunately, once I got to the turn around point my stomach started to feel iffy. I seriously wanted to throw up (sorry for the TMI) and I wasn’t sure I was going to make it back. But I pushed through, despite the constant nauseousness, and made it back without incident. I even managed to run a 9:04 pace through all that. After I got back to the condo, I got some beautiful shots from the balcony as the last rays of light disappeared.

I just love walking outside to this amazing view.

Thanks for checking out my blog and thanks for the encouragement. I used to think I liked tech stuff but just when I start to get the hang of it, I come across more complicated things that I just don’t understand and get frustrated but I’m learning a lot.
I’m still not sure what caused the stomach trouble, I haven’t had a repeat yet but hopefully I will either figure it out or it won’t happen again.
