About Me

I don’t want to share my whole life story, so I will provide just a little background info to get you started. I grew up in Georgia, got my degree from the University of Georgia and was enjoying my life of living in the south. Then 7 years ago I met and married my husband and soul mate who is in the Air Force. Since then I have discovered the joy of living all over the USA and soon to include Europe. Shortly after Chris and I got married, I got into running to lose the excess weight I put on in college. For the next few years I continued to run for exercise and to maintain my weight loss. Then, 2 years ago my husband decided to sign up for a local 5k and I agreed to join him. After that race, my love for running was born. I began training and running in local 5ks and loved the challenge each one brought. Since then I have run in several 5ks, one 8k, five 10ks, and two half marathons. I am continuing to find new ways to challenge myself and am (crazily enough) considering a full marathon. I hope you enjoy reading the randomness of my blog!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I just read your post about bugs flying into your eyes– that happended to me nearly every run when we were stationed in NC. I hated it. You couldn’t run after dusk because all the flying bugs were out! yuck! Thanks for the posts– your blog is a good read.

Thanks! Yes, unfortunately bugs are just a nuisance we have to deal with while living in the south. I guess its a trade off for the warmer weather.

    Hello,
I am the public relations intern for the AthHalf. I saw that you mentioned the half marathon in one of your posts. Can you please respond with your e-mail address for our presslist?

    Thank you,

    Camila
